What YouTube data we access

  • Public YouTube metadata (video titles, descriptions, thumbnails, channel names, view counts, durations) used to surface content within AdventForge.
  • When you sign in with a Google account, basic profile data (name, email, profile photo) for account creation and personalization.
  • We do not access private YouTube data, watch history, or subscriptions without your explicit authorization through Google’s OAuth consent flow.

How we store and refresh YouTube data

  • Cached YouTube metadata is refreshed at least every 30 days to keep titles, thumbnails, and availability accurate.
  • Authentication tokens issued by Google are stored securely and used only to perform the actions you have authorized.
  • We never sell, share, or transfer YouTube user data to third parties for advertising, analytics, or other unauthorized purposes.

How to revoke access or delete YouTube data

You can revoke AdventForge’s access to your YouTube/Google account at any time from your Google security settings (under “Third-party apps with account access”). Revoking access immediately disables our ability to fetch new data on your behalf.

To request deletion of YouTube-derived data we have stored about you (cached profile information, authentication tokens, watch activity within AdventForge), email [email protected] or [email protected]. We action verified requests within 30 days and confirm completion by email.

7. Children’s Privacy

Our Services are not directed to children under 13 (or 16 in certain jurisdictions). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware of such data, we will take steps to delete it.
