AdventForge Content Submission Rules
Last updated May 30, 2026
AdventForge welcomes submissions from independent creators, producers, and distributors. The rules below describe how to submit content and what rights you grant to AdventForge by doing so. AdventForge reserves the right to accept or reject any submission at its sole discretion.
By submitting content, you agree to these rules and to the license grant in Section 4.
1. Technical Specifications
Video
- Container & codec: MP4 (H.264) or MOV (H.264 / H.265).
- Resolution: 1920×1080 (1080p), 16:9 widescreen.
- Frame rate: 23.976 fps or 29.97 fps.
- Bitrate: 10–20 Mbps recommended for 1080p delivery masters.
Audio
- Codec: AAC at 256 kbps minimum, or uncompressed PCM.
- Sample rate: 48 kHz.
- Channels: Stereo.
- Loudness: Target -24 LUFS (±2), per ATSC A/85 broadcast standard.
Closed Captions
- Required. Deliver as embedded CEA-608/708 captions, or as a sidecar SRT or SCC file alongside the content.
Ad Break Markers (preferred, not required)
- Content monetized via AdventForge’s dynamic ad insertion benefits from SCTE-35 markers at intended break points, or a timing sheet listing preferred break locations.
- Submissions without ad markers will be accepted. AdventForge may insert ad breaks at its discretion in the absence of submitter-provided markers.
2. Episodes, Shorts, and Live Streams
Full Episodes
- Runtime must be either 22 minutes (half-hour slot) or 44 minutes(one-hour slot), measured as net content runtime — exclusive of commercial breaks, network bumpers, or black slates.
Shorts
- “Shorts” are submissions under 22 minutes in runtime.
- Shorts are accepted for placement in AdventForge’s VOD (Video on Demand) libraries within the AdventForge mobile app and the AdventForge apps on Roku, Apple TV, and Amazon Fire TV.
- Shorts do not air on the AdventForge linear (FAST) channel.
Live Stream Requests
- Real-time live streaming requests must be submitted at least 45 days in advance.
- Each request must include: date and time window; expected duration; intended signal delivery method (SRT push or pull, RTMP, or Zixi); expected bitrate and resolution; content description and rating; on-site or remote technical contact; and a contingency plan in the event of signal loss.
- AdventForge may decline live stream requests, or adjust scheduling, at its discretion.
3. Music & Licensing
If your submission contains any music — original score, background tracks, performance footage, or licensed recordings — you must:
- Hold and document both master recording rights and publishing/sync rights for every piece of music used. A single license covering only one of these is not sufficient.
- Provide a complete music cue sheet with your submission, listing for each piece of music: title, composer, publisher, in-and-out timestamps, duration, and PRO affiliation (ASCAP, BMI, SESAC, GMR, or other).
- Confirm the music is cleared for broadcast on a linear and on-demand basis, worldwide, across AdventForge and its affiliated platforms (see Section 4).
AdventForge does not separately compensate submitters or third parties for music included in submitted content. Public performance royalty obligations to PROs are handled by AdventForge as the broadcaster, under AdventForge’s applicable PRO licenses; this does not relieve submitters of their obligation to deliver fully cleared content and accurate cue sheets.
Submissions without a complete and accurate cue sheet may be rejected or accepted contingent on the music being replaced or removed.
4. License Grant
When AdventForge accepts your content, you grant AdventForge and its parent company, Hope I Win, LLC, a non-exclusive, worldwide license to broadcast, distribute, exhibit, and stream the content across:
- AdventForge’s linear (FAST) channel, VOD libraries, mobile app, and CTV apps on Roku, Apple TV, and Amazon Fire TV.
Term
- The license term is seven (7) years from the date of acceptance.
- The term automatically renews for successive one-year periods unless either party provides written notice of non-renewal at least ninety (90) days before the end of the then-current term.
Royalties
- AdventForge does not pay royalties to content providers unless a separate royalty agreement has been pre-negotiated and signed in writing.
- Content ownership remains with the creator. This is a license, not a transfer of ownership.
5. Editorial & Promotional Rights
By submitting content, you authorize AdventForge to:
- Insert commercial breaks, network bumpers, and interstitial elements for broadcast and streaming.
- Add, modify, or replace closed captions and subtitles.
- Make minor length adjustments (up to 2% of total runtime) for ad pod and scheduling compliance.
- Apply broadcast-standards edits for profanity, language, or legal compliance.
- Transcode, compress, or format-convert the content for delivery across distribution platforms.
- Extract clips, stills, and promotional excerpts for marketing, advertising, and promotional use across AdventForge, Hope I Win, LLC, and their channels, websites, social media accounts, and partner platforms.
These rights do not extend to material narrative, editorial, or creative alterations to the content. Where practical, AdventForge will consult the submitter before making any non-routine edit.
6. Submitter Representations & Warranties
By submitting content, you represent and warrant that:
- You own or control all rights necessary to grant the license in Section 4, including underlying rights in the content, music, talent performances, and any third-party material incorporated.
- All on-screen talent have signed appropriate releases authorizing the use of their likeness, voice, and performance.
- Where minors appear in the content, you have obtained parental or guardian consent and any required work permits.
- The content does not infringe any third party’s copyright, trademark, right of publicity, right of privacy, or other rights.
- The content is not defamatory, obscene, or unlawful, and complies with applicable laws in the territories of distribution.
- All required music rights and cue sheets have been delivered as described in Section 3.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmlessAdventForge and Hope I Win, LLC, together with their officers, employees, and affiliates, from any claims, damages, liabilities, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from any breach of these representations and warranties.
7. Take-Down & Termination
- If a third party makes a credible claim of rights infringement against submitted content, AdventForge may, at its discretion, suspend or remove the content from distribution pending resolution. AdventForge will notify the submitter promptly.
- Submitters may request take-down of their content at any time with ninety (90) days written notice, subject to AdventForge’s reasonable scheduling and contractual commitments to advertisers and distribution partners.
- If AdventForge or Hope I Win, LLC ceases operations of a network on which the content is distributed, all rights granted under Section 4 with respect to that network revert to the submitter.
8. Agreement to These Terms
Submission of content to AdventForge constitutes acceptance of these rules and the license grant in Section 4. AdventForge may also require an executed Submission Agreement for certain content types or commercial arrangements.
These rules are governed by the laws of the State of Oklahoma, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising under these rules will be resolved first by good-faith mediation, and, failing that, in the state or federal courts located in Tulsa County, Oklahoma.
AdventForge reserves the right to update these rules. The version in effect at the time of submission applies to that submission.
